DIY Ginger Oil

Ingredients: 1 cup Ginger Root

1 1/2 cups of Olive Oil

Directions: Rinsing the ginger—skin included—until it dries (this can take a few hours)

Once dry, take a cheese grater and shred it, adding it into an oven-safe bowl.

Pour in the olive oil and put the mix in the oven at 150°F for two hours.

Remove the bowl and pour the oil through a cheesecloth or very tight strainer into another bowl in order to get rid of all the tiny pieces of ginger.

When the chunks are gone and you're left with just the smooth oil, transfer it to a clean bottle using a funnel, where it will stay fresh for up to six months as long as you keep it somewhere cool like your refrigerator.

Ginger Hair Growth Treatment

Ginger (small piece)

Scalp Oil of Choice :to improve hair growth, you can use sesame or olive oil.

For hair loss use sunflower or coconut oil

Directions: Take a 2-inch piece of ginger, wash and peel. Next, fine grate or blend the ginger into a fine paste, then squeeze out the juice using your hands or sieve.

Put the ginger juice and oil (coconut or sesame) in a bowl and mix well. If your coconut oil is in a solid-state, place the bowl in hot water until it turns into a liquid. Then add ginger juice and stir well.

Massage the mixture into your scalp and leave it on for an hour. You may feel a slight warming effect on your scalp, and that’s okay. Then wash as usual.

Repeat once or twice a week for best results.
